To find your ring size, start by wrapping a piece of string or a strip of paper around the base of your finger. Ensure it fits snugly but comfortably. Next, mark the point where the string or paper overlaps to form a complete circle. Remove the string or paper and measure its length with a ruler, noting the measurement in millimetres.

Arguably, cut is the most significant factor because it affects how much light reflects off the diamond surface – determining its sparkle. Diamond clarity refers to how pure and rare the stone is, while carat refers to the weight of the diamond (1 carat is 0.2 grams). The last factor is the visible colour of the diamond, the absence of colour signifies a rarer stone.
