Be sure to remove your SK Jewellery ring before showering, swimming or doing any household chores that involve bleach and other harmful chemicals. After all, you want to ensure your valuable jewellery retains its brilliance for years to come. When storing your ring, especially gold rings, keep them away from other jewellery that can scratch them easily. Consider having small pouches or a separate jewellery box for these precious rings.
Out of all the diamond shapes, the round-cut diamond offers the most sparkle. Our revolutionary AllStar round diamond comes with a patented 101-facet design, allowing maximum light to enter and reflect off every facet for optimal brilliance. As such, even among the many fancy shapes available, the round cut remains the most popular diamond shape for ladies’ engagement rings.
While we don’t currently offer custom ring designs, we do offer engraving customisation for specific ring types. Talk to our jewellery experts to see how we can help you find the best ring design that suits your style. To find your ring size, start by wrapping a piece of string or a strip of paper around the base of your finger. Ensure it fits snugly but comfortably. Next, mark the point where the string or paper overlaps to form a complete circle. Remove the string or paper and measure its length with a ruler, noting the measurement in millimetres.
Alternatively, download and print our ring size chart that is suitable for both men and women, so you can do an easy measurement at home before you proceed to buy your choice of ring.
When shopping for a diamond ring, it’s helpful to have some knowledge of the 4Cs, the globally accepted standards that determine a diamond’s quality: cut, clarity, carat and colour.
Arguably, cut is the most significant factor because it affects how much light reflects off the diamond surface – determining its sparkle. Diamond clarity refers to how pure and rare the stone is, while carat refers to the weight of the diamond (1 carat is 0.2 grams). The last factor is the visible colour of the diamond, the absence of colour signifies a rarer stone.
